Installation Knowledge and Precautions for LED Underground Lights

  Issues related to the construction quality of buried or underwater lights mainly involve water leakage in the fixtures and junction boxes along the wiring. Therefore, when planning the installation of LED underground lights, it is important to use appropriate wiring methods and minimize the number of intermediate connections. If intermediate connections are unavoidable, efforts should be made to concentrate the junction boxes in suitable locations on the ground, with the power-side connections of each light's head wire centralized in the junction box. During on-site assembly of the fixtures and wiring, the sealing grade of the lights may be compromised due to environmental factors or improper handling, posing quality risks. If necessary, it is recommended to have the products delivered with the light sources pre-installed and with sufficient length of the head wires, as this is crucial. Therefore, a well-planned and comprehensive construction plan is of great significance in improving the project quality.

  Before installing LED underground lights, it is essential to disconnect the power supply. This is the first step in the installation of all electrical devices and serves as the foundation for safe operations. 

  Before installing LED underground lights, arrange all the necessary components and parts associated with the fixtures. LED underground lights are special landscape lighting fixtures that are buried underground. It can be inconvenient to reinstall any missing components after installation. Therefore, it is important to prepare them in advance.

  Before installing LED underground lights, dig a hole of appropriate size and shape for the pre-embedded parts according to the specifications, and then secure the pre-embedded parts with concrete. The pre-embedded parts serve to isolate the main body of the LED underground lights from the soil, ensuring their longevity.

  Before installing LED underground lights, prepare an IP67 or IP68 wiring device to connect the external power input to the light fixture's power supply line. The power supply line of LED underground lights should be an approved waterproof power cable (VDE certification) to ensure their durability.
